borabora1
Hi all. I wander if any of u have experienced a situation with a child dual nationality exiting Thailand with an expired passport. It is a further process to legalise a parental authority from a Thailand enbassy and new passports these are mailed by post because of covid. Therefore there won't be enough time. My daughter has a new French passport just issued ahd a valid Thailand id. Going to France to stay and study. Was in Thailand singe Aug 14 until early July.. So can she exit? Travelling to country if citizenship!

borabora1
So the question is if she would be able to exit?
ThaIrish Sean
My friend's son entered Thailand on his UK issued Thai passport (which expired in Thailand) and when they tried to leave on his British passport were refused. They were told they had to exit on the same passport. They had to go back to Nong Khai and get him registered in the yellow book so they could renew his Thai passport in Thailand. borabora1
Thanks for the reply. With the elements already given i already planned to move the flight anyway. For parental delegation once a parent is a foreigner a thai embassy needs to legalize the document, so the passport departement can proceed. in 2014 and earlier in 2009 i never had to authorize for pasport issuance.
