Thai Covid-19 Center considering request from business owners to re-open entertainment venues and bars, asks for industry to send proposals for rules and guidelines

A spokesperson for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, spoke this afternoon about a request from entertainment industry business owners and staff, as well as musicians, on reopening their industry or providing them financial aid.

Physicians urge for strict measures, no long holidays, before reopening Thailand

PHUKET: Buses to Phuket from Mor Chit in Bangkok have resumed in the hope of spurring more visitors to the island, with the state-operated bus transport company BorKorSor (the initials of its name in Thai) offering 10% discounts on fares.

Bangkok Lifts Restrictions on Dining in Non-air conditioned Restaurants

New United Nations Projects Support Sustainable Practices in Thailand

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's health minister said on Monday Japan's government would donate some AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines, as the Southeast Asian country seeks to shore-up supplies after some early delays in its vaccinations.

8.3% of Thailand’s population receive first vaccine dose, 3.3% fully vaccinated

8.3% of the entire population of Thailand, or 5,526,039 people, have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, while only 2,153,018 have had their second doses, or 3.3% of the population, according to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A Thai medical committee has agreed to narrow the gap between doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to eight weeks from 10-12 weeks previously in places where there has been outbreaks of the Delta variant, an official said on Tuesday.
