meatgrowler
Avin it Koh Phangnan stylee........ Looking at other forums I notice a lot have "pinned" images of their area. I believe this section would be useful for anybody seeking info about the IslandWhat are your thoughts? Maybe we could all add our favourite shots? Perhaps a moderator could consider pinning? Anyway, here's my 50 cents worth to kick it off. 1)Chaweng Cove 2) Bangrak 3) Wat Pla Leam Edited April 2, 2008 by meatgrowler
Samuian
S...edit.....This last one is a quiz as I know where I took this panoramic photo from, but what is the name of this place? More photos on me webpage that Kan be found on me Profile page. Yours Kan Win i: First one is the View point on the "Hill" (don't know it has a Name) between Ban Makham and Ban Bang Po - looking towards Ko Phangan...Second is taken through a Raja Ferry Window approaching or leaving Lipa Noi Pier.... Kan Win
Hi "Samuian", Thank you very much for First one is the View point on the "Hill" great, will add your comments on me web-page. Second one, was in a toilet on Raja Ferry whilst having a pee pee, just before it left with camera in hand. Pee, Pee, first and then that shot. It would have been a shame if I zoomed out of the port hole to take that lonely beach view as it would not represent Koh Samui nor Raja Ferry at all, it could have been taken anywhere……………….!!!! Well spotted, thank you. Yours truly, Kan Win

ady
I was so moved by Samuian's photo blitz that I came home tonight and have dug out a couple of my Haad Yao favourites from over the years: the view from my 400bt bungalow every morning, Jan-Mar 2006 - you had to be up early (or home late ) to get the coconut palm shadow to point to the west (photo composition probably a reflection of how my attention to detail drops out when I'm on the island).... sunset from the restaurant tables at Bay View resort, Jan 2008.... Quite a nice location for sunrise because of the little island few meeters from the beach. #5 Bophud beach, this is the first beach i started shooting in Koh Samui.
