Should We Have A New Forum?

I know I start too many threads.

Especially in this forum.

But well, how much is too much?

We have many foreigners posting.

When I say foreigners, I mean the non English speaking ones,... :o

Should we dedicate a forum to them?

So that they can post in their own language.

We would call it:

I do not know.

Up to you,...

i think we could use some other language forum's in a separate department.

Maybe you could call them

English in thailand

Dutch in thailand

Germans in thailand..

Ect

Here Both english and country's language is allowed.

Although i think it will not fly with certain mods as they can not read the reply and therefore can't edit out certain stuff :o

You are right, and you did not start too many threads.

The reason, why there are so many threads, is because you never know, when your thread is locked by an administrator or even when you are banned.

Yes, we have many foreigners posting about various subjects, not all at the same time, and therefore because of critics of some members, who do not like the contents or poll-results or consider them as boring, this should be no reason to shut down such threads within some days or even some hours.

What is too much? and what is too long? and what is too boring? or too short?

I was asking that question too, only some days ago - no clear reply so far and my thread is already locked.

It is not only the question, if it is in English or not, it is generally about the contents.

I do think that administrators should have the right to block threads, and frankly, I think that they're pretty generous with what they allow and not. The blocking of user names also has the advantage that the number of registered users steadily increases, the active users figure is however more important.

I myself do not see any need to post here in another language I find German language boards like http://www.nittaya.de/ more than sufficient. A bit of competition is also good in my opinion, this board focuses on visa issues. This leaves room for other topics on other boards.

Out of a certain curiosity,I would like to know who my fellow countrymen are.

I expect that in each country there is something like a (in my case) Dutch club/society/expat contact and the normal embassy contact, if wanted.

As far as Thaivisa concerns, I understand and accept the kind of anonymity that many people like to have.

I agree with you....and I think, most people here on this forum are just making a short posting for fun to see, if there are native German or whatever language speakers with this forum.

Nothing wrong with it I would say....

For the general subjects, of course, English is by far the best way of communication.
