sbk Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Forestry officials have seized 700 rai of a fertile forest reserve back from encroachers in Chumphon and adjacent Ranong province. Weera Khunchairak, chief of the southern sector of Prince of Chumphon Park Wildlife Sanctuary and also acting chief of the Fourth Conservation Region's Natural Resources and Environment Protection Unit based in Surat Thani, said 15 suspects accused of encroaching upon the forest reserve were arrested last month.
