I had the Kangaroo Bar next to the Wangcome Hotel and the Beitong Bar was on the opposite side. Cat House was over the back of my bar in a small soi. Paul Markham had Mr Macks Burger Bar. Most Bars that have opened in the past 10 years or so usually shut down only after a few months. Most of the problems with the Bars here is Location-Location. No parking area,cramped,noisy,sitting next to a gutter etc etc. I lasted 7 months until my cash flow ran out. I will never do that again as I am happy living a quite existance out in my small village and drinking lots of cold Leo,s. Gordon was prone to fighting, I believe .. the Thai stabbed him with a Swiss army knife and cut the descending aorta. Steve handled all the requirements to send Gordons body home to Scotland as I did last month for my very close friend and sent his ashes to Ireland. Another guy who had a bar in Jetroyd at that time was a pommy guy. His name is Gordon Eagleton and lives still today two doors up from me in my soi in Hongor village.
