Zorro
Hi, I want to buy a Mini-mart from a local during January 2003. I have managed to get him down to 500,000 Baht. I dont have local friends or a T/G. Do I have to register a new company or do I take over the old company in terms of registration. I will need a work permit, and also need to know that as it is a running company, can I inflate -goodwill- to 2 million baht?
george
If you plan to have a work permit, you must have a Co., Ltd. with 2 Million Baht in registred capital. You need to pay up 25% of this, that means 500,000 Baht. You will need an accountant to handle the valuations in the books. If the old company is a Co., Ltd you can take it over, but for the work permit is the best is to start up a company from scratch
