Aggressive Drunken Foreigner Locked Up

251007_8.jpg

The Pattaya Police had to deal with a difficult foreign tourist when he was involved in a case that came into the station at 4 am on Thursday 25th October.

Pattaya Police was informed that a drunken foreign tourist was acting aggressively towards passing by people at the entrance to Soi 10, Pattaya Beach Road. When the police arrived, the man could not talk any sense because of being too drunk, so they decided to take him back to the police station.

Later the man was found to be a 42 year old Australian called Mr. Trevor John.

The police had no choice but to lock him in the cell to sober up and calm down before releasing him since there was no case – just to keep him from harm and harming others.

Rescuers rescue Austalian man in Pattaya sea

CHON BURI: -- An Australian man was rescued early Thursday after he swam out to the sea, saying he wanted to swim back to his motherland.

The tourist was identified as Trevor John Harrigan, 38.

Is this too much of a co-incidence to be discounted. The same guy?

Actually dual nationality with mental health problems, so maybe time to lay off the guy. (Me an ex psychiatric nurse). Thanks very muchly

If he has, then shouldn't he get repatriated back to a hospital in his own Country?

Just because someone has a mental problem, it doesn't mean they can go around acting aggressively towards strangers..

If his mental problem was so bad, he shouldn't be alone in a foreign country getting drunk, he should be back home seeking help...

Aussies just can't handle booze.

They should stay away from it.

They usually drink Fosters, so no probs

:o:D:D

Actually you'll be hard pressed to find an Aussie anywhere who drinks Fosters.

Fosters is the rubbish left over from brewing the good stuff which we keep to ourselves. :D:D:bah:

I agree with you on that as well. The lifestyle in Pattaya, if it involved drinking is hardly condusive to his mental health state. It would probably also mean that he is unmedicated at present, hence the erratic behaviour shown.

Whilst the aggression towards strangers in unacceptable, clearly if he is acutely psychotic, he would could have little control over this.

He should be heavily medicated and repatriated. I wish him all the best.

A Psychiatric Nurse.
