Pattaya_Fox
Portuguese Man caught stealing Camera from Hotel Room of English Tourist. Police Lieutenant Colonel Sirichai from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Sutat Court Apartments in Soi Beokeow on Monday Afternoon to investigate a theft from one of the rooms. The suspected thief, Mr. Manual Amando Corrcia aged 38 from Portugal was caught as he attempted to run from the area. He had allegedly taken a Fujifilm Digital Camera from room number 216 which was occupied by Mr. John from England. He was out at the time and instructed reception to clean his room while he was out. The cleaner, Khun Pisamai aged 27 was in the process of cleaning the room when the suspect entered the room and took the camera. She challenged the man who then ran away. He was taken to Pattaya Police Station accompanied by Mr. John who confirmed he did not know the suspect and that the camera was his. Mr. Corrcia is a repeat offender and is currently on bail pending further cases of theft. He is also suspected of involvement in narcotics which is thought to be the reason behind him conducting the thefts. It is thought he would use the proceeds from the thefts to purchase the drugs. For now, Mr. Corrcia remains behind bars pending further enquiries. Pattaya City News Monday November 5th 2007
eefoo
Not much to say about that one is there. Opportunist thieves are out there all the time. Not giving them the opportunity is a hard job unless you want to appear paranoid
