English Teacher attacked after he refused to hand over valuables to three Thai Men in Central Pattaya

In the early hours of Tuesday Morning, medical staff at the Pattaya Memorial Hospital admitted Mr. David John aged 43 from England, who works as a Teacher in a school here in Pattaya. He was admitted in a dazed state and claimed he was set-upon by three Thai Men who attempted to steal items of value from him as he walked along the street near the Xzyte Discotheque in Central Pattaya. When he refused to hand over cash and other items, he was brutally attacked by the three men who pulled up beside him on a motorbike. Police Lieutenant Colonel Tidipong from Pattaya Police Station was assigned to the case and is appealing for any witnesses who saw the attack took place. For now, Police are waiting for the victim to recover and he will then provide a statement allowing Police to further investigate this crime.
