007
Being out and about in Bangkok (walking, on the bus, shopping...) I often have Thai people (mostly age group 14 to 45) murmur repeatedly behind my back words like 'soong pan baht', 'RuS-Sia', 'som tam', 'ka-mok', etc. And yes, I am mostly around in a nice, fresh long-sleeve shirt and clean dark long pants. So, what are they up to? Back home the people think too that all Thai women are 'for sale', but I wouldn't walk around in Bangkok, murmuring 'last night - sii pan baht, sure...' when seeing any Thai woman... Scott
Maybe they are or maybe they are just trying to find out how much you charge!
007
Maybe they are or maybe they are just trying to find out how much you charge! Time to start charging those 2,000 baht an hour for teaching. Edited December 3, 2007 by
PeaceBlondie
At my age, I'd assume it was their price. I will tutor for 1200 baht per hour and a work permit, though!
