A Chinese Teacher Must Be A Fluent Thai Speaker?

i am a chinese in Ratchaburi.and i can speak basic thai.

now,i want to find a job . as chinese teacher.i am a BA in chinese language ,gratuated from huazhong university of science and technology..but some of my friends told me i must speak thai well.

so ,i want to make sure it is true or not.

I used to work at a tri-lingual international school in Bangkok. As i remember, only one (of the four) Chinese teachers spoke Thai and only 2 of them spoke English.

I'm guessing this requirement depends on the school.......
