I imagine we could get a nice apartment or house there for 10000 baht a month, is that true? Would a phone line for internet access be possible? Any advice greatly appreciated. ray23 Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 You can get a nice furnished apartment in Udon for far less then that, a good source is Harry's Bar, he has several owners who have left information with him, no fee involved, but it might be nice to order a good steak from him, since it's the best in town. Internet is available all over town. One word of caution Udon is not a tourist town, there are many expats living here. But this is a real lifestyle, not Pattaya. I am definetly looking for a non-touristy place to relax and enjoy the country for a month or so while my girlfriend gets to spend time with her family.
