the scouser
da-laht-lak-sahp. Cheers, Scouse. ps. If you don't get the tones approximately right then what you're saying can have either a totally different meaning or none at all.
snowleopard
Stock exchange is ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ - dalahtlaksahpScouse. It's a good word Scouse! Instead of ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ "dta-laat luck-sup",you could also say either ตลาดค้าหุ้น "dta-laat kaa huhn" or ตลาดหุ้น "dta-laat huhn"! Snowleopard. snowleopard
i rang my friend and said mor fan,he didnt understand??????????/ lol If หมอฟัน "moh fun" does't work, you could use the synonym ทันตแพทย์ "tun-dta-paet" instead! Good luck with your pronunciations. Snowleopard
Boon Mee
securityguard~ One way to help understand it... moh = Doctor = หมอ pronounced with a rising tone. fun = teeth = ฟัน pronounced with a mid tone. บุญมี
taxexile
tan-ta paet (dentist) is a very polite respectful word for dentist and will get you admiring looks from the dental receptionist and respect from the dentist.
Neeranam
dentist= mor fan= doctor teeth Looks easy! When this was a new word to me I saaaid, "ja bpai fun mor" instead of ,"ja bpai mor fun", meaning I am going to screw the doctor.
