A 100 baht golf umbrella purchased from Somchai's 'Umbrellas,watches, sunglasses and various other knock offs' stall at the Hat Lek border crossing doesn't last long in the wet. DaoDao Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 I have some family in other parts of Thailand, so usually I wait till the weather gets really bad [one year earlier/later than the other] because just before rainigseason its nice and calm and then after visits, do some volunteering in the north or go back to europe visiting mom and friends.
