Phuquing Hell
Hi I am trying to find out the word in Thai, for nephew, as a woman would use it. I am OK with Lukh, for my husbands son, but what do I call his brothers' son. Thanks

Neeranam
but what do I call his brothers' son. You would not call him "lan chai" when addressing him. Only when saying "he is my nephew", or I have a nephew. Otherwise, call him by his name or "look" Maybe you are geting confused with the word "look" which can be when addressing young kids, or sometimes teenagers and above. astral
Just like the paternalistic name "Son" in English. Better in Thai as it is sexless.
Ajarn
Or the universal 'nong' for anyone younger/lower
