The projects, both which are located in Kamala district of Phuket, are stated to be violating the National Reserved Forest and Environmental Quality Promotion Acts. The officials are preparing detail of the violations to formally file legal action against the developers. Major General Intarat Yodbangtoey, a committee member to follow up the operation and law enforcement of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, visited the sites. He stated that both projects were approved by the Kamala local administration, violating the acts. Phuket is still under the protection law which forbids building construction over 80 metres high and steep hills to prevent any accident disaster. He however vowed to strictly follow justice procedure for the developers, but in line with national interests. According to the provincial environmental chief Ongaad Chanacharnmongkol, one of the projects has built over 10 units of the properties.
