ronz28
This for Firefox version 3.0 and later: It was posted by 'splinks' on 6/30/08: http://rs276.rapidshare.com/files/12556252...refox_3_0_0.xpi Simply put. It works. Just drag and drop this file anywhere within a Firefox window and you've got Fasterfox for 3.0. Really fast. Its not from the usual source so I am a little concerned about it. Any of you all able to read the code and tell if it is totally safe to use?
onethailand
I would be very wary. Fasterfox 2.0 hasn't been updated since 2006 - basically unmaintained. I find it highly strange that there would suddenly be a 3.0 version in any form (alpha, beta, final) without any mention on the official sites. jackk
Comparing both files byte by byte returns : /tmp/f2/install.rdf /tmp/f3/install.rdf differ: byte 281, line 7 That means they simply changed line 7 "<em:version>2.0.0</em:version>" to "<em:version>3.0.0</em:version>" in install.rdf so that FF3 won't complain about wrong version.
