I'm currently in Maesot - North West Thailand, on the Burmese border. Teak furniture is made on the other side of the river (in Burma) and shipped across at night. The prices are very good, the quality is good and it is real teak (Burmese teak). If you shop around you can find shops that will sell to you at the Thai prices.
