Young Man Robbed by Friend

Pattaya Police received a visit from Mr. Warachai on the morning of the 16th July, who came in to report that he had been robbed by his friend.

He stated that he was about to go home to Phetchabun in North Thailand when he met up with his friend Jah, who insisted he take the young man to the bus station in his truck.

As there was time to kill, they all decided to have a drink on the beach. As they began to get drunk, Jah suggested Warachai hand over his money for safe keeping in case he lost it on the beach. “Great idea”, thought Warachai and so the gullible young man was all set up for the final act.

As they drove to the bus station, Jah stopped the truck and asked Warachai to get him some chewing gum. “Great idea” thought Warachai, so out he steps and off goes Jah at high speed, leaving poor Warachai speechless.

When this happens between Thais, what chance does a farang with big money have in befriending a Thai, no wonder most farangs stick to there own for friendship.
