libya 115
SOURCE: Pattaya People: August 2nd 2008 Young Finn Tourist Mystery Pattaya People were informed on Friday the 1st of August about a young Finnish man who was being held at the Tourist Police station on Pratumnak Road since he had no money and no recollection of his hotel or his belongings. Mr. Gizmo, a Finnish native, living in Pattaya and member of Pattaya Expats Club went along to the Tourist Police Station to see if he could help and find any information about the fellow Finn. There he found 21 year old Mr. Mikko Kokki, who after confirming that he understood Finnish, decided not to talk any more. After a brief investigation it became obvious for both Gizmo and his friend Mr. Heikki Heikkil that the man had either being drugged or had received a head injury because he did not seem to remember how he had come to Thailand, which hotel he was staying in and with whom he had been travelling. Scott
This thread could end up being the butt of a lot of jokes, so I won't indulge. I do hope someone figures out who he is and that he gets home, or gets help.

Yes I met the young lad in the 5 star Bar, beach road next door to Mike's Mall. He had his passort and 40 THB with him, the lights were on but knowbody was at home. My Misses said it looked like he had been passed a micky finn (Ha Ha) The girls in there were trying to look after him, eventually I got him a room in the hotel behind the 5 star bar. We got in touch with the Tourist police which came within 1 hour and they said we will let him sleep and maybe he can remember tomorrow. They said his Mother and Father where flying out from Finnland and were expected in the next day as the Finnish consulate were all so involved in locating him. I thank all the staff at the 5 Star Bar for taking him in and Lek the cashire who did everything she could for him. Conclusion, No head injuries at all, clean and tidy, more likely Lady boy spiked his drink according to my Mrs and robbed him at the bar. Will take 2 or 3 days to remeber if he can at all. Dont know anything else as I had to fly back to Siberia where I work. But hopefully he is Ok and back with his family, I will find out from the 5 star on the 30th.
