Never had a problem getting to see the show, as tickets are on sale each day. Many places to view the show from as well. Come one day early and scout around. Whilst you are here have a look at these photos from last year's show:- Light & Sound Festival - Kanchanaburi 2007 taken from 4 different locations. Yours truly Kan Win P.S. Week-ends are busy. Governor
Thanks for that, really helpful. Intending to stay a couple of nights so can look round the area, was thinking of Felix River Kwai Resort Hotel which looks ok and a decent location, any idea what it's like? Thanks again
CockneyGit
Thanks for that, really helpful.Intending to stay a couple of nights so can look round the area, was thinking of Felix River Kwai Resort Hotel which looks ok and a decent location, any idea what it's like? Thanks again The Felix is very nice, but a bit expensive and loads of mosquitoes at night..!! I always recommend the River Kwai Hotel to any friends that are coming into town. My Mother stays there every year and loves it. Right in the heart of town and close to evrything. Echo what Kan Win says about the show. Easy to get tickets any day of the week (weekends very busy!) but Mon-Friday no probs.

Governor
I Googled it and came came up with these details, it seems that the festival is November 24 - December 5, though I could not find any details about advance bookings, hence the question. I am grateful for the replies and we will be coming this year, mid-week of course. http://www.kanchanaburi-info.com/en/festiv...#bridgefestival http://www.asiativ.com/TravelGuide/Thailan...ridge-Week.aspx

If this is true Could be from 27th November till 7th December 2008 which would cover both week-ends. Will keep you posted. Yours turly Kan Win P.S.
