All train services in the South to resume Friday

BANGKOK: -- The State Railway of Thailand said on Thursday that it has reached a settlement with its trade union to pave way for the resumption of full services in the South starting tomorrow.

Due to anti-government protests, railway workers staged work boycott which disrupted services in the South for 13 days between August 29 and today. The damage on ticket sale was estimated at Bt3 million per day.
