Wikipedia Game

Recommended Posts

Five Clicks to Jesus is, by far, the hippest “wiki-game” known to man.

Directions for Play:

1. Go to Wikipedia

2. Click “Random Article” (in the box under the big ol’ Wiki puzzle logo)

3. Player has five (5) clicks to get from the random article to the article “Jesus”

(A click constitutes as going from one page to another. If you click a link and it brings you further down the page, that is not a click.)

Ready. Set. Go!

To make things interesting, write down your clicked links and post em here!

Words to be substituted for Jesus can also be suggested here for a variation of play.

An example I've just played...Starting random Article...

"Colchester United F.C."

1.Essex

2.Waltham Abbey

3.Church of England

4.Christian

5.Jesus

1) Sunshine tour (a golf tournament played regularly in South Africa)

2) South Africa

3) Christian

4) Jezus.

Can't miss I guess.

Reminded me of the 6 steps theory, that has circulated on the internet for a long time. It means that every person on earth is connected to every other person on earth by a chain of people knowing each other, not exceeding 6 people.

Well since this game is kind of like a takeoff from the 'Six degrees to Kevin Bacon' I thought I would start off with him, Kevin Bacon:

Kevin Bacon

New York

Chemical Substance

Glucose

Food Industry

Unilever

Pepsodent

Toothpaste

Bubblegum

So that was in 9......I guess one to spare... :o

To entice others to play, I believe you should make a suggestion as to the next destination after you have completed one...or else you and I will go on like this.....and I don't get to play!!

So please, in the future, end your post with a suggested destination :o

Here's one more for you....Hula Hoop
