I can remember the infamous cd pens clearly, i am guilty of trying that one. I can also remember when minidiscs came on the market i heard several employees at an audio store talking about how much better the minidiscs sounded than normal audio cds. amazing how lossy ATRAC compession was able to improve audio quality for them!
