george Posted December 11, 2004 Share Posted December 11, 2004 Pattaya Bay to undergo Bt700 million redevelopment CHONBURI: -- The municipal authority in Thailand's popular eastern tourist resort of Pattaya is to embark on a Bt700 million redevelopment programme for Pattaya Bay. Mr. Wattana Chantanaranon, deputy Pattaya mayor, said today that the proposed redevelopment would help ease traffic congestion along Pattaya 1 Road, while creating new tourist destinations. Today saw the final public consultation on the project, which has received widespread local backing.
