Khutan
I was looking through some topics and I wanted to go backwards just one post. Instead of hitting the previous number button, I reduced the number in the URL and I scrolled back 1, really cool I thought. Is this a commonly known feature ? As an explanation I was here http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...pic=22492&st=30 and I changed the URL to this http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=22492&st=29 worked fine

(I expected no .30). After I reduced it by one, I got a page with post number 30 at the top. If I set it to 17, I get 18 at the top.

And that explains why the first page usually has ST=0 somewhere in the URL.
Richard W
It's a very useful feature for directing people to an appropriate reply, rather than forcing them to wade through irrelevant discussion.

tuky
Also, clicking on the "Post #6" at the top of each post will bring up a dialogue box that you can use to point to a particular thread...much better.
