kurgen Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Police Lieutenant Artit from Sriracha Police Station was called to the front of shop in Soi Yoosook in Surasak sub-district in Sriracha on Tuesday Morning following reports of a fatal shooting at the location. Police arrived and inspected the body of Khun Daroong aged 39, the owner of the shop.She had been shot twice in the head as witnessed by her young brother, Khun Jaroon aged 38. He explained to Police that two men arrived at the shop on a motorbike with no license plate. The two men appeared to be in their 40’s and asked Khun Jaroon for some cigarettes. He asked his older sister to serve the men. She arrived and one of the men shouted out her nickname “Kow” and then shot at her as she attempted to run away from the shop. The gunman then pointed the gun at her younger brother and shot at him once, and luckily the shooter missed. Both men then left the scene. Police think the shooting took place because of the dead woman’s association with class 1 drug activities and money lending in the local area. The investigation continues.
