The raid took place at 0:15 am Thursday at the Elizabeth Hotel on Praditpat Road in Samsen district. Police also arrested a couple - Christian Richards and his Thai wife, for allegedly organising the swinging sex tour. When police raided the room No 1101 on the 11th floor of the hotel, police found several couples were having sex in the same room while others were drinking and dancing. No sex in thailand, 1st the demos at the airport now a ban on sex the thai economy is going to be in real bad shape without the sex tourists comming. What is going to happen to places like Pattaya. Unless they were an real annoyance to other guests it is very bad business for a hotel to report this kind of thing to the police. But remember, half the Thai people spy on the other half. I cannot see anything wrong in that either, the organizers do not even take sizable profits out of it, just cover their expenses for hotel, food and drinks. I wonder what the charges will be. The organizers might be a western, but the participants seem to be all Asian men. Although I completely disapprove of any kind of sex tours, why does the police have to make such a big thing out of it? Just to continously discredit foreigners living in Thailand? Tod Daniels Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 After Googling the Elizabeth Hotel; reading reviews and lookin' at the pix, I think someone would have to try pretty hard to have picked a worse hotel for the type of activities described. As an aside; even the nefarious Nana Hotel will only let a person take 3 girls to their room at a time. Although I don't know the reasoning behind how they came to that number.
