george Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Nine killed in road accident in Ayutthaya AYUTTHAYA: -- Nine people returning home from a funeral in Lampang were killed Sunday evening when their station wagon was hit by a 18-wheel truck. The accident happened at 5 pm on a road in Nakhon Luang district. Police said the nine, including three children, were returning home from a funeral in Lam Pang. RIP 125 people die due to trauma every day in Thailand. This includes all accidents including traffic, home & industrial and murder. Source: WHO Maybe illegal but compared to 3 or 4 (or more) on a motorcycle they would have been traveling in the lap of luxury "until the 18 wheeler hit them" that is.
