I just know that when i was in that age range....i was very curious about sex and i know its not just me. i would venture to say that most young males around 13-15 have seen some sort of porno and are curious. Unless the the kid was forced into doing it i don't think this should be that big of an issue...the boy should have just said "holy shnikies....thank you!" but...just like all men...when we get something we like we have to tell our buddies....its just a part of life. I also think that parents now are soo paranoid they hinder child development and experiences...sex is a natural thing and is just plainly put...a part of life.. She brought him to her dormitory room and then more or less accuses him of making advances toward her. She has 'used' him and this can affect his emotional development for future relationships. It was not--at least as presented--a mutual relationship. She was in a position of authority and she either used that authority to get what she wanted, or failed to use it to set up appropriate boundaries between her and a student. I very much doubt this kid has a 'feather' in his hat. His parents know and they aren't pleased. Some shame going on in this situation and that's not particularly healthy. What is 'traumatic' will vary from situation to situation and case to case, but this situation is far from appropriate. Yeah, but the truth is a lot of fathers would be proud of the boy, especially the fact that he is turning out straight. When i was 12 (yes TWELVE) i knew pretty darn well what i was (gay, that is) and had my first actual experience with 13 (classmate). And older brother and in some cases the father will take the the kid down to the local massage parlour or brothel.... and well, you can guess the rest. Some will argue that this leads to a lot of negative things later in life (and often all of Thai society in some cases), and some will argue that it leads to positive things (one of which is it's less likely that said individual will cross class lines and marry a prostitute for example... which apparently is a lesson clearly NOT learned in the west). The other is the issue of a role model/authority figure taking advantage over a youth. The law is black and white. Real life is not black and white. Listen, that is not even close to being a factual statement. When a young boy is 13 he has erections when he sees things on the National Geographic channel. It takes little stimulus. I am not saying the boy didn't "enjoy it" as you say, what I am saying is this will be a classic case down the line and trust me I speak from professional experience. I shouldn't tell this story, but I once worked and studied in the field and there was a patient who when he was young boy (13, or 14, don't recall which) had a woman expose him first to pornography, and then later a sexual encounter. This man had no real guilt producing factors (i.e. religion, authoritarian parents, yada yada yada)but in a few words it messed him up.. The guy was suicidal, struggled with pedophilia, self defecation and mutilation, ect.. Part of the reasons I decided not to continue pursuing a career in the field (that and my hatred for statistical analysis.) The point is, this is more common than you guys think it is, its just not something people openly talk about.. Sure some of you guys might have had such an experience. but believe me your result is the exception, not the norm. I would even argue you do have some issues as a result , particularly your views concerning gender.. But what the hel_l do I know, take it or leave it...
