The very nature of that post, indicates to me that things are not going very well in your life at present. You are allowing otherwise insignificant events/people get to you. You can't go through life living in a perfect environment. You can only process the way you percieve the environment around you. I saw an ad for a large bar for sale quoting reason for sale was the owner was opening a new hotel near to the casino site. Good news for Pattaya Bad news for Thais and Thailand,they will gamble until they have absolutely nothing left and more. I think this is a worthwhile subject as someone who lives here, how many farangs do we all know who come to Los and open a small bar and spend everynight getting pissed. I have told countless people for their own good that maybe its time to go home for their own good, as soon as you hear them slagging off Thailand and the Thais you sort of know its time for them to go and get back to reality. When will farangs learn that you will never get rich running a bar that seats 8 people, also it destroys your life working until the early hours. They end up working English time rather than Thai time and become night owls. Then you have the bums that really think that when the Thai girls call them handsome man they believe it, a pot bellied slap head that is irrisistable to all women (give me a break) Then the worst of the lot, The ones that must have been released by their goverments on the care in the community scheme, we have all come across these idiots and one wonders how the ###### they survive. I am sure Goverments around the world are sending these types here just to get rid of them, and no its not a rant or a problem for me just an observation. Good post lets have more. Mike. There used to be a passle of 'em in Angeles City and Olongopo, PI 'till the US Navy pulled out. Probably migrated over to LOS then. After over 14 years in Thailand, I have seen many many people come and go, all where thinking that it would be easy to stay in Thailand, many find out the hard way that it is not. I did expect some response from those that can see themselves in my post, they take it as a personal attack. It is not, it is just an observation.
