toopeekaa 1
Has anyone seen in CM a copier made by HP that is able to take your old videos, and even old 8MM home movies and convert and burn them onto CD's I saw an ad for it about a year and a half ago and then nothing.... If memory serves me it was a HP 3000 something. Has anyone bought one or used one and would you give a recommendation Pro/Con on the device ... I have quite a few of the old "Cheers" "Faulty Towers" , "Billy Connley" etc VHS Tapes I would like to preserve.. Thanks
chanchao
You could probably download those in better quality than you'd get converting them. On that particular unit, just google for "hp dc3000 review" and you should find plenty of info on it. But on conversion: Any computer with a video-in port (or one you've added that to) can be used to capture and digitize video into VCD or DVD. Look into the ULead Movie Factory software. (Though others also do this, eg. Nero et al) Cheers, Chanchao
