Teletiger,

No, earthworms are no good for a worm bin. In the Uk I used Redworm and Brandlings, but I imagine that it would be a different worm here.

Is there redworm (or the correct kind) for sale online in Thailand? 

 

If not I will try with earthworm.

Sure is. Contact a TV member wormfarmer who is in RoiEt and will send compost worms to you. I have bought worms from him before and been very pleased.
