Richb2004v2
I use a Nokia 3310 classic and it works fine with Jaunty. I didn't have to do anything technical at all.

Richard-BKK
He Colin, Why do you try to install wvdial? From your previous error I assumed you already had it installed? Try this... sudo wvdialconf

Gary A
I'm not a Linux user but I do play with it once in a while. I have Ubuntu 9.04 installed on an extra hard drive. They have added AIS, Dtac and True to this version and I don't have to use the console at all. It hooks up graphically and works fine. That said, I still can't get CAT EVDO to work and I have tried all the suggestions and fixes available. It will work with Ubuntu but I lost all the settings the next time I booted it up. I was irritated enough to give up on it since.
Mr.Poko
I found out that the user Richard-BKK was made unable to reply or post on this forum, I introduced him to http://www.linux4u.info and he has agreed to answer all Linux problems....
