Pm Vows Reconciliation In 8 Months

I fail to see what some discussionon the timing of a couphas to do with this thread.

Quite frankly a coup is an illegal act in any country buty it happens. It happened here and then so did some elections a couple of changes of government. Still the country is where it is and a way forward that is aceptable to most in all parties has to be found. It is good to see that in parliament there are signs this may be happening and it is heartening to see what looks liek a cross party white movement starting that has seemingly no extreme agenda forcing opposition. That red Khwanchai and Dem Suthep can both be linked to it is demonstration of this. Lets hope the sensible voice for consensus and a move forward wins over the extreme loons and reconcilliation can be achieved.

Reconciliation panel divided into three subcommittees

The second meeting of the reconciliation committee of Parliament resolved Tuesday to assign its members into three subcommittees.

The first subcommittee will be in charge of pushing for political reconciliation and will have 12 members.

The second subcommittee will be in charge of political reform and will have 11 members.

The third subcommittee will be in charge of amending the Constitution and will have 13 members.
