george Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 Phuket airport expansion approved AoT okays B5.8bn for Phuket The board of Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) approved a 5.79-billion-baht plan to expand Phuket International Airport. Phuket’s passenger handling capacity will double to 12.5 million a year by 2013. The board also confirmed Serirat Prasutanond as president of the majority state-owned airport operator and defined future roles for Don Mueang airport, according to AoT executives.
