sbk Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 26 injured in 7-vehicle pileup in Prachuap KhirikhanPrachuap Khirikhan - A pileup involving a passenger bus and six other vehicles here injured 26 people, police said. Police said the accident happened at 2 am on the southbound Phetchakasem Road in Tambon Bornok of Muang district. Police said the speeding Bangkok-Surat Thani air-conditioned bus slammed into a car, that was struck in traffic. The car in turn hit other vehicles, leading to the seven-vehicle pileup. Police said the traffic congestion was caused by a truck that slipped into the ditch in the middle of the road about 3 kms away from the pileup scene.
