How far is the border is from Hat Yai and is taking a taxi a feasible option to go to the border. Recommend any hotels in Hat Yai? samipook Posted February 5, 2003 Share Posted February 5, 2003 I did this once about 6 years ago, no problems encountered, you need to get some transport as it is about 1.5 hours drive from Hat Yai to the Malaysian Border.
