noise
I have a 30 year old house near Chiangmai Gate that was built on concrete posts. Like all such houses, the posts carry all the load of the concrete beams on which the house was built. These posts are now spalling/cracking under compression (my best guess). I think this is occcurring (over the last several years) is probably because the posts were "poured" with hand mixed concrete. Even though there is reinforcing rod inside, the mix of sand, rock, and mortar was probably not uniform and/or in an optimum ratio. Can anyone recommend Thai structural engineer that can make an assessment? Speaking English is not a requirement. If it matters, the house is near Kad Gom.
