The visa fee's will be effective from August 26 and the new minimum wages must be upheld before July 1 next year. Since Thai Rak Thai (Thai Love Thai) government got the power two years ago they are slowly making it more and more difficult for foreigners to live here, they add new taxes, rules and requirement all the time--(c/p from another forum) is it true that the thai goverment is gradually making it more and more difficult for farangs to survive in los? As said this is old news and assume the c/p comment means the OP found it on another forum and either did not realize that or is posting it here to get our anxiety up. Visa fees went from 500 to 2000, bank requirements from 200K to 400K for marriage visa, other stuff ... I think most regulars here know. Use search and you'll find.
