iainiain101
I have this info... Royal British Legion A branch of the Royal British Legion was formally launched here at The Olde Bell last week and we are proud that we have been nominated as their official home in Chiang Mai. The Legion has a social evening here on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month and anyone interested in finding out about it or would like to join some interesting chaps for a pint, would be most welcome. A quick reminder that Remembrance Day is on Wednesday 11th November at 10.45am at the Foreign Cemetery on the Chiang Mai – Lamphun Rd (opposite the Electricity Company offices) If you are unsure where it is, do ask at the bar. We have some space in our car if you’d like to come along. Refreshments will be provided at the Gymkhana Club afterwards.
heazille
Yes there is a service on November 11th at the foreign cemetery in Chiang Mia. The recently formed sub branch of The Royal British Legion local headquarters is at the Old Bell, Loi Kroh road. Also, for your info they have a social meeting there every first & third Wednesday night from 7pm. If you come along this week no doubt they will be able to give you all the details.
