I'm leaning towards an Acer Aspire One and am hoping it's possible to purchase this model without Windows installed. Also, I've been reading about Linpus, and from what I understand, Ubuntu would be a much better choice. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase an Acer Aspire One in Thailand with Ubuntu as the OS? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
d0ndela Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 In the latests lists from Acer Thailand, all Aspire Ones either comes with Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP Home. That's not saying it's not possible, just might prove a bit difficult to find. I think netbooks in general are hard to find without pre-installed Windows actually.
