Help me out here please., Time to move into my house and live 13 km fro the city. ?Anyone with any experience with AIS, DTAC wireless modems in SN ?

They have edge modems and ais modems, any thoughts /

Isuggest you check out CAT CDMA service. It is a lot fasetr than the DTAC or AIS edge offering at a comparable price.

I live far out in the bushes in Ubon province. First years here i had Ipstar satelite internet. Expencive (1600 bath pr month for 256 kb) and it was very slow and unstable. Then i found out that i had AIS Edge signal in my village so i vent to buy a secondhand mobilephone with Edge. Worked very bad. Slow and unstable but still better than Ipstar. Payed 990 bath pr month for unlimited use. No i have CAT CDMA and im very happy with how i works. Had to buy a small modem for 7000 bath and i pay now 850 bath pr month for unlimited use. It works great compared with the other options. In the evening i can get downloadspeed more than 1 MB. I can now se Web TV and videos on Youtube which was impossible before. I think CAT CDMA has a very good coverage almost everywere in Isan. First i borrowed a modem from CAT office in Ubon city. Brought it home and tried it for one week. After working fine i went back to buy my one modem.
