Tuky was right, the odd # was some 'combined' stuff (I think?). Finally made it to the bank to get a new card this week since my previous one said 'pin number not valid'. Got the new card, took seconds and no waiting as I went to the upstairs admin counter. Staff are always great at Bkk bank imho. Anyways, popped her in and I'm pleased to report I'm just as poor as before, no more, no less. Bottom line- much ado 'bout nothing (in my case at least). Still, my Dad visited recently and refuses to put his card in any ATM when travelling. A bit extreme in my opinion but he seems to sleep well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
