Rimmer Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 A group of youths were chased and gunned down, by an opposing gang of teenagers, whilst returning home from a night out, leaving one dead and one severely injured. Pattaya,17th January 2010 [PDN] At approximately 1.40am, Police Lieutenant Colonel Anan Thammachaikul,(Pattaya Police Investigator) received a report of a shooting, at the beginning of Soi 10, South Pattaya Road, Norngprue, Banglamung. Subsequently, the officer along with Police Lieutenant Colonel Chonnapat Nawalak (Pattaya Police Investigation Deputy Superintendant) rushed to the scene. On arrival at the Police found an injured youth, Mr. Wirun Phianhapol [16] from Banglamung, with wounds to his right thigh and knee resulting from a .38mm gun. The other youth, Mr. Natthawut Watakaworn [15] was found to have injuries to his chest which proved fatal. The two youths were sent to the hospital. The officers discovered a black and white Honda Wave motorbike which belonged to the deceased, upside down on the road with a bullet from a .38 gun on the seat, which the officers kept for evidence. The Officers followed on to the hospital to examine the body of the deceased, and to interrogate Mr. Phianhaphol, who stated that whilst he and his friends a total of 8 youths were riding their motorbikes home after their night at the Box Karaoke venue, the gang of offenders around 8-20 of them who were enemies, approached at the fourth intersection. Mr. Phianhaphol and friends had tried to escape without a fight, but the gang followed until arriving at the scene on Soi 10, South Pattaya Road. Instantly one of the gang members pulled out the gun and shot Mr. Phianhaphol, who was riding behind the deceased on the motorbike, causing severe injuries and killing Mr. Watakaworn. The Officers also interviewed Mr. Boy [15] one of the members of the injured party Who explained that he noticed a Mr. Top Naklua was in the offending group and is a student, grade 6/6 at a school in the Banglamung area. The Officers will proceed to look for Mr. Top Naklua, in order to interview him about the incident and retrieve the gun. Mrs. Ringluk Hormkhajorn [38], the deceased’s mother arrived at the hospital to see her son’s body. It was 1:am or later in the morning and these Kids were out at a singing joint what are the families doing to stop these actions of their kids???
