eurasianthai
Nice one Stick, but I have seen nicer ones on your website. You're actually pretty good at taking pictures in Bangkok during the night, without a flash, hence my question, what camera and what lens do you use for your night pictures? phetaroi
I was quite pleased with how sharp these 2 came out Camera is an A560 Powershot from Canon Taken at the Sanctuary of the Truth in Naklua Penkoprod Yes...much more sharp than a lot I see posted on here. Very nice, and it looks as if it was in a difficult lighting situation.

bifftastic
What is the brand of the polarizing filter you use bifftastic (picture 6)? And well, since I'm at it, what camera and lens? no polarizing filter, unless a Canon Ixus 60 decides I need one and magically applies it honestly, all I did was, wake up, think 'hmm this looks nice' got the camera out of my pocket, switched it on, took the photo, ordered another beer and went back to sleep (after I drank it of course!) I may even google polarizing filters just to find out what they are! Edited May 4, 2010 by bifftastic

IanForbes
Your BEST photographs in Thailand? Ah, the pro comes out of his den to scrutinize the competition... But, I DO see some nice pictures here. The one picture I remember the most is Kanwin's photo of Doi Suthep bells on misty, rainy day. Actually, I can't recall taking any spectacular photos of my own in Thailand. My best photos are of children whom I don't have written permission to post on thaivisa. My photos are interesting, and some tell a story or show the native surroundings, but few are what I would call... prize winners. I DO like this one, but it's hardly a prize winner. And, artistically, this one is okay... even if it is just a picture of a fish. This was one of my favorites because of composition, but the light was poor and it was snapped quickly. IanForbes
And the days with my Thai kids at Mt Erawan in Kanchanaburi is always a thrill. They've loved swimming since they were barely out of diapers and they are real waterbabies. They swim like fish and it's hard getting them OUT of the water. Kanchanaburi has so many spectacular spots I understand why Kanwin makes it his home.
