sillyfools
I currently have music / audiobooks on my server (will move it to a NAS soon probably). I would want to play different music in different rooms and be able to control it (volume, source, playlist) (preferably through my iphone). Since I live in a condo, I'd rather not have to put wires in. What is the cheapest solution (can use second hand material). No small pc that has to be running per room. I'd like to save on power and heat-generation. I was thinking of some kind of wireless audio receiver/streamer or something. Preferably I'd like to just mount two speakers in the ceiling and put the device behind it. Anyone has any experience with this?

LivinLOS
Sonos isnt bad.. H3 digital supply them locally to me.. Could look into various slimP3 models, squeezebox, sling type devices, Even many of the Onkyo receivers have built in MP3 network support.. sillyfools
Thanks for the responses. Sonos looks good but on a rental condo it's above my budget. The airport express seems promising. Anyone has some for sale second hand (2 or 3?) Also, how easy is it to control? Do I need to be physically close to my itunes PC or can I just handle it from my iPhone. Would this also work with the iTunes cable Buffalo NAS? Is there any way that I can also stream some channels from let's say Live365 on this?
