The incredible incompetence and ineptitude of the reds leaders over these last few days almost suggests that one of its core leaders was 'got at'. A kind of spanner in the works.

Mind you Sukhumvit should be interesting tomorrow. There are still thousands of red shirts remaining in BKK.

The mix of red shirts together with its attendant hard core militants - and downtown goin' about its everyday activities will - no doubt - prove to be interesting!

With Jatuporn and Arisman, it would be verty hard to tell if they

were over the top on purpose or just over the top.

Now Veera and Nuttawat once were relatively legitimate political operatives.

COuld the money or influence have done a discrete 'Newin' and threw a ringer in the 3 buddies.

Stranger things have happened in Thailand I have no doubts.

Aye boyo, Take a dive, Take a DIVE in the 4th!

Do it for your old dieing granny boyo!

Aye that's the lad.

Th ethree buddies big problem right now is the own side. Thay have manged to screw a good hand up big time and the vultures are waiting

Multiple Own Goals in one game comes to mind.

Don't be so sure its over. Look for a change in tactics. A few hundred determined insurgents spread across the North and North East could be far harder to deal with then 100.000 demonstrators in Bangkok. The problems in Northern Ireland and countless other places started with civil demonstrations.

Tend to agree with Roamer,it's not getting sillier, it may be getting more serious.

Stupid people are doing stupid things that are very insulting and provocative.

i suspect that the plan is to create, and then build upon, longer term divisions.

Whatever many here will say, it does take balls to throw blood at troops ( as just happened in Chiangmai ).

The reds have just lost a battle but I am sure that for many of them the fight will continue and grow.

Good point roamer. But transpose North and North East for Sukhumvit Road tomorrow. There'll be trouble there tomorrow for sure!
