apteraplayer
My friend wants to get married August 2010. The problem is that his next Thai wife was married before. Before 2 months she took divorces certificates . But now he look the thai law ... in case of a woman is a widow or a divorcee (lady), the dissolution of the former marriage must have taken place at least 310 days before the next marriage. Doctor's pregnancy test is accepted if the time between the former marriage and the next marriage is less than 310 days; but this rule shall not apply if; a child has been born during such period, or the divorced couple remarry, or there is an order of the Court allowing the woman to marry. What he can do now? If he will take a negative Doctor's pregnancy test, everything will be ok? This doctor has to work in public hospital? Thank you Edited May 26, 2010 by apteraplayer
Mario2008
There is no requirement that the doctor works in a government hospital. Any doctor will do. The doctor just has to check if she is pregnant and make a statement that she is not. Submit the statement to the amphur when getting married.
